Following the recent instability on the MISTRAL cluster, we have decided to retire the current server hardware. Despite the data centre team replacing the motherboard and conducting cooling system improvements, the server has not met our strict standards for consistent reliability. We are not willing to risk further interruptions.
We are currently provisioning and stress-testing brand-new Generation 2 (2026) hardware. To ensure a completely clean environment and rule out any potential software anomalies, we will perform a full cPanel migration. This involves methodically cloning all sites from the current server to the new infrastructure.
Maintenance Window: Monday, February 9, 2026 Start Time: 4:00 AM ET Expected Duration: 45 minutes (likely sooner)
Impact: During this window, sites on the MISTRAL cluster may experience brief periods of unavailability as we fail over the IP addresses to the new hardware.
Outcome: This proactive migration will restore the stability we are known for. Additionally, the move to 2026-spec hardware will provide a significant performance boost to all hosted sites at no additional cost to you.
